People who continually put off doing certain tasks, often focus their attention on other, sometimes solo projects. It is possible that someone who refuses to stop their procrastination will end up addicted to the computer, for example, if that is where they turn to take their focus away from whatever else they should be doing. Taking refuge behind a computer screen offers self-justification for putting off doing something, but an addiction to computer gaming or the internet may be a signal that procrastination help is required.

Attention deficit disorder, while typically associated with children, has become a more common diagnosis for adults who cannot focus on one thing for a long time. When this leads to procrastination seeking treatment for attention deficit disorder can also lead to stopping the procrastination.

In the majority of cases procrastination is displayed as an avoidance behavior during which the individual will perform other tasks unrelated to the project they are ignoring. Learning new behaviors and finding out what draws their focus away from their planned project, often means a cure for procrastination can be found.

A major step towards stopping procrastination is starting to set smart goals. Understanding the concept of time is often the first step towards achieving goals and can create a breakthrough in many areas of our lives.

Why Is Goal Setting Important?

Well, every time we decide to give ourselves a personal of business related goal, we empower ourselves with a sense of inner direction and purpose. We give ourselves something tangible to aim for. Whether were looking to buy the dream home, move abroad or even just spend more time with our friends and family.

It is important that we continuously look for ways to keep pushing ourselves as individuals by consistently setting ourselves short term and long term goals.

So what can you do to set realistic and measurable goals and how can you go about reaching them?

This is where audio learning can help a lot. Many modern entrepreneurs are very time and goals orientated people and are already leveraging audio learning to help them reach their goals.

They will often use self help audio books which relate to the given goal, for example self improvement, public speaking or self motivation, and play these audio books repeatedly over and over until they have firmly embedded the principles into their subconscious mind. This then allows them to focus more firmly on their goals and serves as a constant reminder to them.

Here is an easy 5 step formula to setting and achieving your goals both in the short and long term.

1. Establish what your goal is – This is the first thing to do and will dictate your strategy. To illustrate, if you wanted to put into practise a method that you recently heard about in one of the many audio business books, then you would need to be clear about it and decide that this was going to be a goal of yours, by establishing it in your mind.

Make a habit of visualizing your goal in as great detail as is possible. This will motivate you into making progress and taking action.

2. Write your out on paper. A goal not in writing is nothing but a dream. Always write your goal in a positive, personal and present tense. The physical act of putting pen to paper will make a great impact on the results you get as well as serve as a constant reminder of your goal.

3. Give yourself a deadline. By setting a deadline to achieve your goal you will also create a sense of urgency. Without it, you will never get around to doing it. It will always be just outside of your reach. So push yourself into action, and put the needed pressure on yourself by setting a deadline.

4. Break your goal into small steps and prioritize and sequence them. One easy method to establish your biggest priority is to ask yourself what one task once accomplished will have the biggest impact on your life right away. That is your most important task that you have to complete.

5. Take daily action. This is the most important part. Make it a habit and priority of taking daily action by working on your goals on a day to day basis. Step out of your comfort zone, and don’t let fear hold you back.

Don’t wait until things are perfect before you start either. Things are never going to be perfect so just take that first step today in the direction of your goal and remember that you can always improve things as you go along.

Life Coach Relationship Video

Nanette Geiger, Relationship Coach , writes… …

Something I’m given often is “Where should a beginner start”? Being a Life Coach, the basic concepts of the Law of Attraction continue to be a joy for me to teach people. Getting a grasp of how energy and the Universe creates is what a beginner should understand as the first concept. What’s amazing concerning the basics in any area of expertise that I’ve studied is that backtracking to the basics is always an awesome way to increase the strength of your foundation for future peace. So essentially, doesn’t matter if you’re just starting out or an experienced Law of Attraction Life Coachcoach, going back to basics is a fantastic way to increase your abilities in creating the ideal special someone.

The Law of Attraction is continuously working FOR you. The more important question is are YOU allowing the Law of Attraction to attract for what you TRULY want? In other words, the Law of Attraction is continuously sending back to you your most prevalent vibration. What you want to be aware of is, what is my dominant thought on THIS MATTER – the task of creating a relationship? What’s my “loudest” vibration on attracting a larger amount of fortune, good physical status?

Rather than focusing on what is bad or missing in your life, put thought on what IS good in your life. Attract what you love in your life. Look for many excuses to be joyous, thank, and compliment. Learn about yourself, your feelings and thoughts in any waking second. By paying attention to the way what you are experiencing, you will find what your deeply held beliefs about success in relationships, money, or well-being are for yourself. Keep your energy focused on what you want and just how satisfying it will be when it is prevalent in your life. Instead of looking at back in time (if the experience was not positive) and you will clear up your current vibration. Stop looking in the past and comparing and finding what did not happen. It’s like trying to drive ahead while looking in the rear-view mirror. You will be attracting unpleasant energy.

Practice the work continuously on your own and then use spiritual coaching. A skilled coach can hear the context from which you are attracting and get you to understand it too. I suggest that you do your own work. That is what this course is designed to do, to teach you to self-coach. When you come to a halting area, get some help. The Law of Attraction is there to help you.
